Clinical Analysis, Treatment & Management of Cerebral Palsy - Autumn 2023

The course is suitable for qualified physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech & language therapists who are experienced in working with children and young people with cerebral palsy.

The course is presented and facilitated by a specialist multidisciplinary therapy team based at Cerebral Palsy Cymru in Cardiff.

The content of the course is based on a multidisciplinary approach (physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech & language therapy), to the treatment and management of children and young people with Cerebral Palsy. Video-based clinical cases from a variety of classifications and severity levels of Cerebral Palsy have therefore been selected to reflect an MDT approach.

The International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF) framework, forms a central part of the clinical reasoning, problem-solving and treatment planning approach of this course.

The course is interactive, and there is an expectation that participants at this level of knowledge and experience will actively contribute to discussions on analysis, problem solving, treatment and management centred around video-presented clinical cases and paper- or video-based clinical cases contributed by participants (more information will be provided to registered participants).

The cost of this course is £195 per person.
