Early Intervention and Assessment Course - Spring/Summer 2023

Part 1 will be delivered remotely starting in February 2023 and will be the equivalent of 3 days of education time.
Part 2 will consist of 3 days in June 2023 at Cerebral Palsy Cymru, Cardiff, Wales and will focus on translating acquired knowledge into practical skills working with babies/infants and their families with guidance and support from the course tutors.
The course is led by the highly experienced early intervention course tutors, Christine Barber and Betty Hutchon.

Early Intervention and Assessment for Infants and young children at high risk of neurodevelopmental problems – a practical and evidence-based approach.

Dates and times for this course
Monday 27th February 2023 – Full day online – work will be given that will need to be completed prior to the Live Tutorials.
Tuesday 28th February – 7pm - 8pm - a Tutorial to discuss topics and ask questions arising from the course on 27 February 2023
Tuesday 21st March, Tuesday 18th April, Tuesday 9th May & Tuesday 23rd May – a Live 1hr Tutorial (not recorded) – compulsory attendance required - 7pm - 8pm
Monday 19th June to Wednesday 21st June - Three-day attendance Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. These Practical Sessions will be held at Cerebral Palsy Cymru, Cardiff, Wales.
Who is this course for?
This course provides essential training for physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists working with high-risk infants in the NICU and in the community during the first year of life.

Cost: £1,155 per person (this includes tea/coffee at the practical sessions but not lunches)
