The 7 Challenge
What is The 7 Challenge?
This year for Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month (CPAM) we would like to invite all our supporters and families to take part in our brand new fundraising challenge – The 7 challenge.
Our logo is a tangram arranged in a shape of a heart. A tangram is a chinese geometric puzzle consisting of a square cut into seven pieces which can be arranged to make various other shapes.
Just like the tangram, we would like you to take the number 7 and think of a challenge you could do to raise vital funds for us this October.
What can I do for my challenge?
- Run or walk 7km (or 70km!)
- Bake 7 cakes
- Cycle 7 miles
- Swim 70 lengths in the pool
- Read 7 books in 7 days
- Do a 7 hour sponsored silence
These are just some examples – the possibilities are endless!
How do I sign up?
Simply click on the 'book now' button above or click here.
Once you have signed up, you will receive a confirmation email shortly afterward providing you with all the tools you need to kick-start your fundraising.
How much does it cost?
It is FREE to sign up to take part in The 7 Challenge.
Everyone who takes on the 7 challenge will receive a certificate of thanks and if you reach a fundraising target of £70 or more, you will receive a special commemorative medal.
By taking on this challenge, you are helping Cerebral Palsy Cymru continue to provide therapy and support to children and families across Wales living with cerebral palsy.
Can I take part at any time during October?
The 7 Challenge is a virtual fundraising event that takes place throughout October which is our Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month.
You can decide when and where you complete your challenge. You can either complete your challenge on one specific day or, if you would prefer, you can spread your challenge out throughout the month of October.
I have a question regarding this event. Who should I contact?
If you have any further questions regarding The 7 Challenge, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our fundraising team.
Take on 'The 7 Challenge' and help raise vital funds for Cerebral Palsy Cymru this October.
We would like to invite all our supporters to this virtual update event, hosted by our Head of Income Generation, Rachel Morgan.
