Parent & carer workshop - 'Why children won't eat: picky eaters vs problem feeders'
This is a workshop for parents and caregivers of children up to 5 years of age. Led by our Consultant Speech & Language Therapist, Rina Van der Walt, this workshop will offer an introductory view on why some children may struggle to eat, and how to help them eat better.
What will I learn from this workshop?
By attending this workshop, you will learn:
- The foundational skills needed for eating (some of which may be surprising!)
- Common feeding issues often seen in young children, including struggles that 'picky eaters' may have, and the challenges of the 'problem feeder'.
- Practical strategies to help your child learn to have a healthy relationship with food.
